On Sunday 26th October the “Vintage Giro d´Italia” will pass along the east cost of Lake Garda.
It deals with a cycling event dedicated to the vintage bicycles dating back before 1987.
This stage is called “La Gardesana”: departure is at 10 am from Malcesine, and at 11 am is foreseen the arrival of the group to Torri del Benaco.
The vintage bicycles will march until the port square. Here the cyclists will have a break before cycling back to Malcesine.
In the meantime you could admire the old different kinds of vintage bikes that take part in the event: there will be road or travel bikes, folding bicycles and also the bicycles used once for specific jobs, such as postman or baker.
